Hey there, I'm Dino.
This blog is yet another attempt at a social media replacement with a personal blog. The idea is to have a place to quickly share content and post status updates, like what you would usually do on Facebook or X (Twitter), but that is outside of the usual social media networks.
Since I try to stay away from social media, this is also my “Hey I'm still alive” blog for my family and friends. That means that I will use this space to share links to articles/posts that I find interesting, or to post “status updates” to keep my friends updated on what's been going on with my life.
About Me
I am a software developer, an 80s kid, a husband and a dad with two kids.
I grew up listening to rock, punk pop and emo from the 90s/2000s. I picked up a taste for metal post-hardcore music in my late 20s, early 30s. You can usually see that reflected in the music videos I share on this blog.
I am of Filipino descent, which is why you will also occasionally see me share OPM (Original Pilipino Music) music videos, as well as a splash of k-pop and j-pop music here and there.
I'm a car enthusiast, which is why I love talking about cars on this blog. I'm a fan of Mazda, though I'm into any cars that are fun to drive. I used to daily drive a 2013 Mazdaspeed 3, but now split the daily miles between the Mazdaspeed and a 2024 Mazda 3 Turbo Hatchback. My dream, if I'm financially able, is to be able to daily drive a Porsche 911 Turbo.
I'm also into anime, video games (though I have a separate blog for that) and the occasional k-drama.
