Refactoring a method, trying to reduce cognitive complexity from 19 to 15. I think I can bring it down even lower than 15. Anyway, my focus music of choice is Torres from Mayonnaise. This one is a beat or two slower than the original. But man I love how they turn the end into a jamming session. These guys are true musicians and have mastery over their instruments.
I am burned out and exhausted. But the finish line might be in sight. Gotta get this fix out tonight. I've found that when I get really stressed, great music helps me cope. Like this awesome cover of Radiohead's “Creep”. I can listen to this over and over.
Having to do another all-nighter trying to get something done at work. This seems to be happening more frequently... hmmm. Anyway, trying to get through with this great song from Hale. Back to early 2000s with this classic.
Wow! Remember when rock band male vocalists could sing the high notes like this? We seem to have left them back in the 80s and 90s. We need more male vocalists like this guy!
Okay so the fix is done, but some tests are failing because of some datetime thing. It is just past midnight here, so the tests probably couldn't handle the change. Anyway, I'll deal with it tomorrow.
Closing out the night, or rather, the day, with this wonderful new rendition of All Time Low's “Remembering Sunday”. Love the violin parts that Lindsey Stirling added. And who the hell is Lisa Gaskarth? Turns out, that's the lead singer's own wife! I did not realize she could sing this well!
Still up, still working, working on a temp fix to address a critical issue. Cannot stop listening to this cover of Coldplay's “Fix You”. It's so good!
