Just cannot stop listening to this song. It's a bit cringe, now that I'm older, but man this is a pretty good song. I bet this is a hit with people in their teens and late 20s.
Super clean recording of Narda by Kamikazee. The mixing is great on this one. Even while listening to it on laptop speakers, I feel like I can pick out the instruments in this recording. Amazing.
Refactoring a method, trying to reduce cognitive complexity from 19 to 15. I think I can bring it down even lower than 15. Anyway, my focus music of choice is Torres from Mayonnaise. This one is a beat or two slower than the original. But man I love how they turn the end into a jamming session. These guys are true musicians and have mastery over their instruments.
I cannot stop listening to this song today for some reason. That said, this is one of the best rock songs to come out of the Philippine music industry. Awesome chords, soaring melody and vocals. It's a song that doesn't seem like it will end, or that you don't want to end. You don't need to understand the Tagalog language to appreciate this. If you are a fan of music, this is just a great song to listen to.
I've had this song on repeat for the last 20 minutes. It's a beautiful uplifting song and this was a beautiful cover of the original.
The song is sung in Tagalog, which unfortunately I'm not that good at. But here's a rough translation of the song's lyrics. Again a beautiful uplifting song.
Don't look down on yourself
Don't think that you're useless
That's a damn big lie
Tomorrow the sun will rise again
But only for those with the patience to wait
Don't give in my friend
Keep your chin up high
Because nothing's going to happen
There's nothing for us to gain
Don't try to stop the rain from falling
There's time to be a king
There's time to be down on the ground
Because that's just the way life goes
It's sunny, it's raining
That's just the way life goes
