Here's one for the car enthusiasts out there.
I can very much relate when the driver in the first car filled up his Corvette ZR1 with gas. Premium octane gas is so expensive nowadays. Although I did find out today, that E85 gas is like a dollar cheaper than 93. So it might be worthwhile to stay on the E30 tune for my Mazdaspeed3 until gas prices come back down. I only switched to the E30 tune because of the extremely hot weather.
Anyway, this is how you do car videos. Less talking, less influencer face time, and more screen time for cars... because that's why we're watching anyway. Excellent video from Gears and Gasoline.

This goes out to all the dads out there, including those who have gone before us. A reminder that we are called Dad or a Father for a reason. Happy Father's Day!
Excellent comparo of affordable sport compacts. Yes I say affordable even though the prices start at $28K and go up from there. But what can you do? Cars are more expensive now. It's just the reality of it.
Interestingly, I watched this and thought that the Elantra N is like the Mazdaspeed3 of the bunch. But if I were to replace my Mazdaspeed3 with one of the cars from this comparo, I probably would go with a dual-clutch GTI. I'm no longer in my 20s and I would prefer a more refined ride as my next daily driver.

I just finished the Dragon Rising quest in Skyrim. — Yes, yes, I know it's an old game. But what can I do, it's a good game. And unlike Fallout 4, I haven't finished this one yet. — So anyway, back to the quest. This quest is the first time you will fight a Dragon in Skyrim. And I have to say, with a Shield Mage build (Shield on left hand, Frostbite on right hand), that was the easiest Dragon Rising fight I've ever had. Way easier and way more fun than having to fight the dragon with a Sword and Shield, or from long range with a Bow. Looking forward to getting more time in with this Shield Mage build.
Recent discussions on the topic of Snap.as has me once again contemplating the creation of an image gallery script.
This one's a test using simply HTML and CSS. The images are from a Snap.as gallery I have. I obviously manually copied over the image URLs and the description.
The key here though, is that if it can be written in HTML and CSS, it can be written in JavaScript. The idea then is to list down the URLs and their description somewhere, and run some kind of loop that will generate the image gallery on the fly.
As I'm not feeling well today, I'll end here. Catch y'all later folks.
Today I discovered Lindsey Stirling. Well actually I first heard of her when she did a cover of “Phantom of the Opera” for the OST for The Umbrella Academy. But today is the first time I actually sat down to listen to her music.
Her music is a great mix of modern and classical. I've gone through the first six songs in the playlist below and... this is good stuff!
Totally did not expect this one. Season 1 was a gem. But ever since the pandemic, I was resigned to the idea of not seeing a second season. This trailer then is a surprise. And lo and behold, it looks like Season 2 is going to be on a different level. Very much looking forward to this one!
I'm one of those who still play Guild Wars 2 years since it came out. This video is a good explanation of why that is the case. The game will turn 10 years old in August, but the game developers are still working on it. New content, new updates are still coming out. If you've ever wondered why you should try playing it, check this out.
Heard this song on the radio last night, and it will not leave my mind. What a beautiful song.
