Massive power is doable on any platform, but a few simple touches to refine what was there from the factory seems like a really good approach for long-term preservation.

This is also how I see myself modifying my car nowadays. More of a OEM+ approach for longevity, rather than modding for all out performance. It is especially important now as new car prices have gone through the roof, and replacement parts for my Mazdaspeed3 have become scarce and costly.

I didn't even realize monks can own cars, more so a tuned/modified one at that. This was an eye opening read for me. But more important is the monk's thoughts on finding a balance in life and how that affected how he modified his car.

Funny, I was just thinking about this the other day. Even with a minimalist wallet, most smartphones nowadays are still huge. They take up a lot of space in our pockets. Then there's pocket knives, Airpods, lip balms, key fobs, house keys, etc... Our everyday carry requires a lot of pocket space, but the fashion trend nowadays still seems to be tight fitting jeans. I don't get it. I'm hoping cargo pants really do make a comeback.

I did not expect Manchester United to win against Arsenal. I also didn't expect the team to be this good this early in the season. That is four wins in a row now and two of those came against Liverpool and Arsenal. This is looking like a very promising turnaround for United.

Icing on the cake here, or maybe even vindication that Ten Hag knows what he's doing, is that Antony, their expensive new signing, gets the first goal in the game.

Now that's more like it. United get their first win of the season. It comes against Liverpool, who to be fair, are also going through their own struggles. But for a Manchester United team that has been rock bottom the past few games, you take this win and move on.
